The Hearing Center is a local, independent, community-oriented practice dedicated to serving the hearing needs of San Jose, Morgan Hill, and the surrounding areas. Our hearing center has been providing comprehensive hearing healthcare for over 45 years. Our hearing specialists provide diagnostic hearing tests, the latest hearing aid technology, custom hearing protection, and tinnitus management.

What to Expect at
Your First Appointment
When you first come to The Hearing Center, your appointment will be broken up in to a few parts.
We will begin with a conversation to get to know you. We will go over the paperwork you filled out and ask you some questions to get a better understanding of your hearing, where you are having trouble, and what your goals are.
Next, we’ll perform a thorough ear exam to look inside your ear canal and evaluate the health of your eardrum. This step helps us identify any physical factors that could be affecting your hearing and ensures we have a complete understanding before moving forward.
After we’ve determined your ears are clear, then we will begin the hearing test. We will assess your ability to hear different sounds at various volumes as well as your ability to hear words in noise and quiet.
After the hearing test we will go over your results (your audiogram) and answer any questions you may have. We will go over different hearing aids that can help you and help you choose the right device for your unique needs.
